Our business philosophy is to provide both a high quality product and reliable service for customers.

APICO
Apico started off in business as Antique Parlor.   Kenneth & Wanda Place opened Antique Parlor in 1974 in Houston, Texas in a building that had once been a small service station.   They scouted the East Coast for unique, high quality antiques, refinished and restored the items by hand to stock the little store.  

In just a few years of hard work, they expanded the size of their building to over 6,000 sq feet of space, with this came additional customers. Many of those were customers while they liked antiques in their office, they still had a need for conventional office furnishings.   This opened a whole new market up to Antique Parlor.  

The office furniture sales took off immediately, they found they no longer hand the time required to select the quality of antiques they insisted on handling.   The decision was made to dedicated themselves to office furniture sales with the promise to do so with the same quality of product and customer service they were know for in the antique arena.

Antique Parlor became APICO Furniture.

As APICO developed we have taken on lines in addition to standard office furniture, that include Church Steeples, Pews, Pulpits and other Church furniture and   Specialized furniture that is designed for use in child care centers and private schools.
